Use of Licensed Materials
Anyone over the age of 13 can sign up for free to vote on our weekly Forums. However, only Licensed Educators and their students with an active license code have the rights to use the education materials provided through the license. These include lesson plans for Chief Justice, Capitol Hill, Head of State and the FFD National Polling Project. All lesson plans will be provided to licensees via this website. Distribution to or use by anyone who does not have an active license is prohibited. All Licenses are active for one year from the date of purchase.
The FFD Educator License
All Licenses are active for one year from the date of purchase. Your FFD Educator License subscription will begin as soon as your payment is processed. All subscriptions are an annual contract. You can choose upfront whether you want to pay yearly (prepay for the full year at a cost savings of $1 per year, per student) or pay monthly (12 equal payments for one year). In either case, your license will automatically renew annually without notice until you cancel.
Annual Contract, Paid Monthly
With the paid-monthly plan, you authorize us to store your payment method (s) and to automatically charge your payment method(s) every month until you cancel. We will automatically charge you the then-current rate for your license, plus applicable taxes every month of your annual contract until you cancel. If we make any changes to your license’s rate at the annual renewal term, we will notify you of any rate change ahead of time with the option to cancel. If you have not provided us a backup payment method and you fail to provide payment, we may suspend your license subscription. You can edit your payment information any time on your FFD Account page.
Cancellation terms for paid-monthly plans
You can cancel your paid-monthly subscription anytime through our Contact form or sending an email to support@ffdusa.org. If you cancel within 30 days of your initial order, you’ll be fully refunded. Should you cancel after 30 days, you’ll be charged a lump sum amount of 50% of your remaining contract obligation and your license will continue until the end of that month’s billing period.
Annual Contract, Pre-paid
With the pre-paid plan, you will be charged in one lump sum the full price for your one-year license. You authorize us to store your payment method (s) and to automatically charge your payment method(s) every year until you cancel.
Cancellation terms for pre-paid plans
You can cancel your pre-paid annual subscription anytime through our Contact form or sending an email to support@ffdusa.org. If you cancel within 30 days of your initial order, you’ll be fully refunded. Should you cancel after 30 days, your payment is non-refundable, and your license will continue until the end of your contracted term.
